Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Goro-Goro and Satoru is a Grixis token-swarm deck that marries a Go wide Goblins sub-theme with a Dragon-payoff package. The commander awards a 5/5 flying Dragon token whenever a creature that entered that turn deals combat damage, and its activated ability grants your entire board haste. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap Goblins, turn them into Dragons via the commander's trigger, then overrun opponents with a rapid, hasty army. Key synergy pieces like Maskwood Nexus and Arcane Adaptation turn every creature into a Goblin, supercharging Krenko, Mob Boss and the commander's trigger. The deck can also cheat Dragons into play with Minion of the Mighty or Sneak Attack, and it has a compact infinite-Goblins line via Conspicuous Snoop (with Krenko on top) + Skirk Prospector + General Kreat, the Boltbringer for infinite damage. Wins typically come from an overwhelming combat step with many Dragon tokens, bolstered by Dragon Tempest and Utvara Hellkite value.
