Deck overview

This Temur Dragon Stompy deck leverages Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat expensive, devastating Dragons directly onto the battlefield. The game plan focuses on spending the first three turns establishing heavy mana ramp via land searchers, mana rocks, and cost reducers. By Turn 5, the deck casts Ureni, immediately digging eight cards deep to put game-ending threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, or Twinflame Tyrant into play. From this critical onset, the deck uses haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy or combat multipliers like Desert Were-Worm and Scourge of the Throne to deliver lethal flying damage across two combat cycles, aiming to eliminate all opponents by Turn 7. While vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and lacking dense countermagic, the raw threat density and independent power of its individual Dragons allow it to pivot and rebuild effectively.
