Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf tribal deck, helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, blends two overlapping engines: a Dwarf-tribal core that floods the board with bodies and a Treasure subtheme that converts every Dwarf ETB and combat hit into artifact tokens. Thorin both generates a Treasure on each Dwarf entering and pumps his kin for every artifact token you control, making Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Xorn, and Academy Manufactor force multipliers. The Equipment suite - Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Hearth and Home, Buster Sword - turns a suited-up Dwarf into a value engine, with Reyav, Master Smith providing double strike. The deck wins primarily through commander/combat damage, with Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact alternate win as a secondary line enabled by Magda's tutoring.
