Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color battlecruiser list commanded by Jodah, Archmage Eternal, designed to bypass exorbitant mana costs and cheat massive legendary creatures and sorceries into play for {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}. The 99 features an unusually high density of basic lands (64 lands total), ensuring that the deck hits land drops on every turn without stalling. Once Jodah is deployed and five colors are assembled on Turn 6, the deck resolves game-altering threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Emergent Ultimatum, and Eldrazi titans. These threats strip opponent resources and close out the game through combat damage over subsequent turns. While the deck possesses immense late-game power and high resilience to mana screw, it lacks early interaction, cheap tutors, and protection spells, making it vulnerable to early aggressive strategies and spot removal on Jodah.
