Gwenom's Self Hate by AgentCaelus

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless is a mono-black combo deck that uses its attack trigger as a repeatable top-deck engine, letting you cast spells from the top of your library by paying life while lifelink offsets the cost. The primary plan is to tutor into a compact life-drain loop-Chain of Smog plus Professor Onyx, or Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond/Vito/Enduring Tenacity/Bloodthirsty Conqueror-and finish with an Aetherflux Reservoir or Tendrils of Agony. Secondary paths use Bolas's Citadel with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir, or Doomsday piles. Gwenom is a value engine rather than a required combo piece; there is no hidden commander or second face.
