orzhov lifegain by pizzi99

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk leads a midrange Orzhov lifegain-drain deck. The primary plan is to tax every opposing spell with Liesa, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Mai, and Rug of Smothering, while building life through lifelink attacks, Soul Warden effects, and extort. That life is converted into universal damage by Sanguine Bond, Vito, Marauding Blight-Priest, Starscape Cleric, Enduring Tenacity, or Vizkopa Guildmage. The signature finish is the infinite loop between Exquisite Blood (or Bloodthirsty Conqueror) and any drain-on-gain payoff. Aetherflux Reservoir, Felidar Sovereign, and Test of Endurance provide alternate life-total wins. There is no hidden commander; the supporting legends are role-players.
