Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse control and attrition strategy helmed by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary game plan revolves around attaching single-target Curse Auras to opponents to disrupt their resources while generating card advantage and damage. Lynde acts as the central engine, recurring destroyed Curses to yourself at end step and passing them to opponents on your upkeep to draw two extra cards. Dedicated Curse tutors like Curse of Misfortunes accelerate the assembly of lethal Curse combinations, such as Curse of Thirst, Curse of Bloodletting, and Cruel Reality. Asymmetric damage doublers including Wound Reflection and Fiendish Duo, alongside finishers like Torment of Hailfire, scale the single-target bleed across the entire pod. The list protects its slow, multi-turn attrition engine using a suite of free and efficient interaction spells, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Force of Will, and Cyclonic Rift.
