Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Dimir midrange strategy helmed by Prowler, Clawed Thief, centered on Marvel Villains and the Connive mechanic. The deck's primary game plan revolves around deploying Prowler early and chaining Villain creature spells to trigger repeated connive triggers, filtering cards, growing Prowler with +1/+1 counters, and loading the graveyard. Midgame power spikes come from token producers such as Doctor Doom, Mysterio, Master of Illusion, and Ultron, Unlimited, which flood the board with evasive bodies while triggering Plan enchantments like Doom Reigns Supreme and Glorious Purpose. The deck uses Dimir interaction, bounce effects, and selective discard to disrupt opposing plans while maintaining tempo. Victory is achieved through wide, evasive combat damage bolstered by anthem and scaling effects like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon and The Masters of Evil, closing games out around Turn 8.
