Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages the partner pairing of Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist to execute an aggressive, card-stealing Voltron game plan. Supported by a massive land count and dense 1-2 CMC ramp, the deck reliably deploys Pako on Turn 4. Pako attacks immediately thanks to haste, exiling the top card of every player's library and growing rapidly with +1/+1 counters. Haldan subsequently converts those exiled cards into virtual card advantage, letting you cast opponents' noncreature spells and play extra lands. A deep suite of low-cost instant protection spells shields Pako from targeted removal, while evasion enablers and combat multipliers like Temur Battle Rage and Overpowering Attack allow Pako to eliminate opponents in rapid succession.
