Commander: Mirko, Obsessive Theorist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mirko, Obsessive Theorist leads a Dimir surveil-and-reanimator strategy. Every surveil trigger adds a counter to Mirko while refilling the graveyard with recursion targets. Doom Whisperer, Sinister Starfish, and Search for Azcanta provide repeatable surveil, while Buried Alive, Final Parting, and Oriq Loremage set up the yard. Reanimation spells-Reanimate, Victimize, Animate Dead, Necromancy, and Mirko's own end-step trigger-turn milled payoffs like Gray Merchant, Massacre Wurm, and Syr Konrad into board pressure. The default win is commander damage: grow Mirko, make him unblockable with Rogue's Passage, and close in two swings, with Syr Konrad serving as a backup drain finisher.
