Copy of R Haste/Warp Deck by Deepfreeze

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red midrange "warp-cheat" deck built around Tannuk, Steadfast Second. Tannuk gives every other creature haste and grants all artifact cards and red creature cards in hand warp {2}{R}, which effectively turns expensive cards like Skitterbeam Battalion, Bygone Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Cityscape Leveler into three-mana plays. Those warp-cast permanents exile at the next end step, but Sundial of the Infinite can blank that trigger and keep them around - a key engine trick. The deck wins through an aggressive board of hasted threats backed by ETB/attack payoffs such as Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest, Warstorm Surge, Etali, Primal Storm, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, with Heartless Hidetsugu and Maximum Carnage compressing life totals. It is a mid-speed, value-oriented combat deck rather than a combo deck, and it leans heavily on Tannuk to make its expensive top end playable.
