Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is an Azorius token-and-draw engine built around Bard, King of Dale, whose two replacement effects double most card draws and every token creation. It wins by spamming small Human, Soldier, Bird, and Tentacle tokens through recruit and draw triggers, then turning them into one lethal attack with Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery or a The Eagles Are Coming! burst. Bard is the hub, but Hylda of the Icy Crown, Nadir Kraken, and Emrakul's Messenger provide alternative draw and token fuel. The commander is a six-mana value multiplier, so the plan is to tutor or quickly draw into him, chain draw spells and recruiter creatures, and finish with a wide, pumped battlefield.
