Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters and Aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages the Blight mechanic to place -1/-1 counters on its own creatures for rapid card draw while punishing opponents with life loss whenever their creatures receive counters. Supported by anchor cards like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, the deck translates counter placement into a continuous stream of tokens and death triggers. While it features an infinite pump line with Devoted Druid and Quillspike, its main route to victory is asymmetric board control: shrinking opposing threats to zero toughness and draining the table using Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Obelisk Spider. Its primary vulnerabilities are a lack of stack interaction, reliance on permanents in play, and absent dedicated protection spells against sweeping exile effects.
