Planeswalker Party by user9196485

Format: Commander

Commander: Carth the Lion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Superfriends deck built around Carth the Lion, whose ability reduces the cost of loyalty abilities by one (making +1 abilities cost +2, netting a +2 loyalty gain). The strategy is to deploy a critical mass of planeswalkers, accelerate their loyalty through Carth's discount and proliferate effects, then win via ultimate abilities-typically token swarms (Garruk, Primal Hunter, Nissa, Worldwaker), mass reanimation (Liliana Vess, Liliana's Talent), or overwhelming combat advantage. The deck leans heavily on its commander for efficiency but can still function as a value engine without him, thanks to a dense suite of self-contained planeswalkers and recursion. The primary win path is a slow, grindy grind through incremental advantage and ultimate activations, lacking a fast combo finish.
