Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy centered on +1/+1 counters, proliferate engines, and combat scaling, led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks, counter-generating creatures, and enchantments like Hardened Scales. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, the deck leverages combat connections to draw cards and proliferate existing counters across the board. Midgame turns transition into explosive stat growth through thematic Saga creatures such as Summon: Bahamut and persistent value engines like Forgotten Ancient. Rather than relying on infinite combos, the deck closes games by granting large boards trample, unblockability, and double strike via Kodama of the West Tree, Rikku, Resourceful Guardian, and Chocobo Knights, or resolving an asymmetric wipe with Damning Verdict. Robust counter preservation tools and reactive shield effects maintain board stability against opposing disruption.
