Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on accelerating into its commander, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and dominating the battlefield through rapid token generation and board control. By using a dense suite of green land-ramp spells and mana dorks, the deck consistently casts Koma on Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, Koma cannot be countered and creates a 3/3 Serpent token at the beginning of each player's upkeep, amassing 12 power per table rotation. These tokens provide infinite defensive utility and tap down opposing threats, commanders, or key activated abilities at instant speed. The deck amplifies this token engine with doublers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, draws massive cards via Elemental Bond and Rhystic Study, and protects its board with efficient counterspells and Heroic Intervention. The game is closed on Turn 7 by casting decisive overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or Serpent of Yawning Depths to trample over all opponents simultaneously.
