Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The plan is to flood the board with legendary Villains, convert connive and discard into +1/+1 counters, tokens, and chip drain, then finish through go-wide combat. Doom's combat-step connive plus land-discard life loss stitches the theme together, while redundant connive engines (Leader, Super-Genius, Ultron, Unlimited, Prowler, Clawed Thief, Norman Osborn // Green Goblin) keep the engine running. Lords and anthems (Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, The Squadron Sinister, Shared Animosity, Banner of Kinship) turn a modest Villain swarm lethal, backed by mass reanimation (Behold the Sinister Six!, Bloodline Bidding) and a single extra-turn spell in Time Stretch. The deck wins primarily by combat attrition rather than a fast combo kill.
