Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counters midrange deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, who turns every -1/-1 counter placed anywhere into card draw (when on your creatures) or life loss (when on opponents' creatures). The deck builds around wither, persist, and proliferate effects to spread -1/-1 counters across the board, then exploits them for value: drawing cards, generating tokens (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Flourishing Defenses), stealing creatures (Necroskitter, The Reaper, King No More), and draining life (The Scorpion God, Omnath, Locus of Rage). The primary win condition is overwhelming combat presence - tokens from Avenger of Zendikar and Omnath, backed by trample from Garruk's Uprising. A secondary channel uses Black Sun's Zenith and Blowfly Infestation to control the board while building an insurmountable advantage. The deck is a classic midrange value engine, not a fast combo deck, and its resilience comes from repeated recursion and incremental advantage rather than speed.
