Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie tribal and aristocrats engine led by Varina, Lich Queen. It focuses on curving out aggressive Zombie threats, accelerating mana via efficient artifacts and altars, and casting Varina on Turn 4 to establish massive card filtering and graveyard velocity. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a decisive board state using force multipliers like Coat of Arms or Mondrak, Glory Dominus, or locks creature-based opponents out using Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. The deck features robust protection in Clever Concealment and Flare of Fortitude to preserve its board against sweepers. If disrupted, mass recursion through Zombie Apocalypse and recursive threats like Gravecrawler allow near-instantaneous recovery, culminating in a lethal multi-opponent combat finish by Turn 7.
