Nekusar by RolaufTheWizard

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Nekusar, the Mindrazer "group slug" deck built to force opponents into a death spiral of card draw. Every extra card drawn costs life from a suite of punishment permanents - Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Razorkin Needlehead, Scrawling Crawler, Kederekt Parasite, and the commander itself. Wheels like Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Wheel of Fate amplify the pain by having each opponent draw (and discard) seven cards, while Megrim and Liliana's Caress punish the discard step. Krang, the All-Powerful doubles every draw trigger, turning a single wheel into a lethal event. Notion Thief can subvert the opponent's draw, letting you draw their wheels instead. The deck wins by accumulating incremental damage across the table, often chaining multiple wheels in a single turn cycle to finish all opponents simultaneously.
