Deck overview

This five-color deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to create a synergistic +1/+1 counter and creature token beatdown strategy. Michelangelo enters early to generate Food tokens and distribute counters via raid triggers, while Leonardo turns every token creation into a team-wide buff and provides a lethal five-color combat activation. The 99 reinforces this plan with redundant counter amplifiers like Hardened Scales and Kami of Whispered Hopes, token generators, and evasive beaters such as Heroes in a Half Shell and Dark Leo & Shredder. Card velocity is fueled by token and counter triggers like Caretaker's Talent and Mikey & Leo, Chaos & Order. While the deck features an impressive instant-speed defensive suite including Ripples of Potential and Mutational Advantage, its reliance on multi-creature board states leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and mana disruption across its demanding five-color base.
