Deck overview

This mono-green deck is commanded by Torgal, A Fine Hound, utilizing a dual-tribe synergy between Dogs/Wolves and Humans to rapidly accumulate +1/+1 counters and overwhelm the table. Torgal serves as an early mana dork in the command zone while providing a scaling trigger that heavily buffs the first Human cast each turn based on the number of canines you control. The early turns focus on establishing cheap canine bodies like Ferocious Pup and Young Wolf, which in turn allow mid-game Human payoffs like Heronblade Elite, Champion of Lambholt, and Maester Seymour to enter as massive threats. The deck converts this wide and tall board presence into a decisive victory using overrun effects including Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes, and Coat of Arms, supported by protective instants to preserve momentum through sweepers.
