The new goblins by user8340378

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin tribal deck helmed by The Great Goblin, built around the amass mechanic and counter-placing synergies. The commander turns every +1/+1 counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army into 2 damage to an opponent, while its death-trigger exiles the top card for pseudo-card advantage. The deck wins through a combination of wide combat swings backed by anthem effects (Goblin Chieftain, Shared Animosity) and a dense suite of table-wide pings (Impact Tremors, Pashalik Mons, Boggart Shenanigans) that Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might amplifies to 4 damage each. Assault on Osgiliath serves as the primary finisher, amassing a huge Army and granting double strike and haste to close out the game. It is a midrange aggro deck with incremental reach rather than a combo deck.
