Satoru Umezawa locked by BradPitt

Format: Commander

Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa turns every creature in hand into a ninjutsu enabler, letting the deck drop high-cost threats onto the battlefield for {2}{U}{B} after an unblockable attacker connects. The primary plan is to use a cheap evasive creature to cheat out a game-ending threat, usually Blightsteel Colossus, then power through three poison kills. Secondary paths use EtB-value demons, Yuriko triggers for card advantage and mass life loss, and a small reanimation package to reuse key pieces. Yuriko is effectively a hidden commander, supplying card draw and direct damage whenever a Ninja connects. The deck is at its best when it protects Satoru and sequences combat so the ninjutsu creature enters unblocked.
