Commander: Blor the Impervious

DeckCheck Threat Index: 18

Deck overview

The deck uses Blor as a resilient voltron attacker. Ramp from Sol Ring, mana creatures, land-search spells, and Exploration supports expensive threats such as Colossification, Raised by Giants, Unnatural Growth, and Void Winnower. Equipment and Auras supply power, trample, evasion, and card flow. The commander’s hexproof and indestructible make it difficult to remove directly, but the supporting permanents remain vulnerable and the deck has limited ways to find them. Its best ordinary pressure is a large Blor attack after a delayed Colossification setup. That attack can threaten one opponent, but the list does not reliably assemble the evasion and protection needed to finish all three players. Interaction is broad enough for casual tables but mostly conditional, and there is no compact combo or dependable lock. The deck is therefore a resilient, high-curve combat strategy rather than a competitive Commander deck.
