Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger combo strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Azula, equipping her for protection or haste, and attacking to trigger Firebending 2. While Azula is attacking, every spell cast is copied, transforming modest rituals and draw spells into explosive mana engines and card advantage bursts. This combat engine quickly pivots into game-ending combos: either escaping Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze with Underworld Breach to mill out opponents or storm off with Tendrils of Agony and Grapeshot, or flashing in Dualcaster Mage to duplicate Molten Duplication for infinite hasty attackers. A dense package of free protection spells and split-second enablers shields the combo turn from opposing interaction.
