Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest commands a Golgari lifegain and swarm-aggro deck that weaponizes life-drain triggers and tribal token buffs. The primary game plan generates Pest, Insect, Bat, and Spider tokens using cards like Pest Infestation, Ant Queen, and Beledros Witherbloom. Every lifegain trigger from sources such as Essence Warden or Prosperous Innkeeper empowers Blech to place +1/+1 counters across the whole board. The deck closes games either by draining opponents directly via Dina, Soul Steeper, Starscape Cleric, and Nadier's Nightblade or through massive, wide combat swings backed by Duskshell Crawler providing trample.
