Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black lifegain and drain combo deck commanded by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The primary strategy focuses on assembling a two-card deterministic infinite loop between Vito (or functional duplicates like Sanguine Bond and Enduring Tenacity) and a reverse-drain engine such as Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Once both pieces are present, any instance of life gain or opponent life loss triggers an endless chain that drains all three opponents to zero life simultaneously. The deck supports this game plan with efficient mono-black ramp including Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Jet Medallion, alongside robust card draw from The One Ring and Phyrexian Arena. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into an alternate big-mana drain plan using Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Exsanguinate to close out games.
