Deck overview

This is a Felisa, Fang of Silverquill counters-and-death deck. Its core plan is to place counters on inexpensive creatures, sacrifice them, and convert their deaths into flying Inklings. Modular creatures such as Iron Apprentice, Hangarback Walker, and Arcbound Worker preserve counters, while Carrion Feeder, Bartolomé del Presidio, and Warren Soultrader provide sacrifice outlets. Skullclamp, Blade of the Bloodchief, Teysa Karlov, and Drivnod, Carnage Dominus increase the value of those deaths. The deck has reasonable removal and some protection, but it needs several separate roles before it becomes operational. It does not contain a supported two-card infinite combo or a reliable compact finisher. Its normal game is incremental: assemble the commander engine, grow a flying board, draw through deaths, and win through combat if opponents cannot reset the board.
