Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal and aristocrat reanimator strategy led by Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. The primary game plan focuses on filling the graveyard with high-impact legendary Angels using cards like Buried Alive, Entomb, and Ripples of Undeath. Once Shilgengar enters the battlefield, sacrificing an Angel produces enough Blood tokens to immediately fuel its mass reanimation ability. Returning a full graveyard to play establishes a dominant board featuring Avacyn, Angel of Hope for indestructibility and Brisela, Voice of Nightmares to shut down opposing spells with mana value 3 or less. Life gain synergies with Bishop of Wings and drain triggers from Mirkwood Bats provide supplemental reach. The deck cleanly converts mana acceleration and self-mill into an explosive mid-game board state that closes out the game through lethal flying combat.
