Deck overview

This is a Gruul ramp-and-turbo deck built around Etali, Primal Conqueror's explosive triggered ability. The primary game plan is to accelerate into a turn-4 or turn-5 Etali, then use his enter-the-battlefield trigger to exile and cast nonland cards from each opponent's library for free. The deck then leverages that burst of value to deploy additional threats, close out the game through combat - either via the back side Etali, Primal Sickness (11/11 indestructible trample with poison counters) or via a flood of large creatures and haste enablers. Secondary win conditions include infect creatures (Razor Swine, Fallen Ferromancer, Ogre Menial) and the occasional direct-damage spell like Worldsoul's Rage. The deck is a high-variance, "spin the wheel" strategy that relies on Etali's trigger for its most explosive turns, but it also has a solid beatdown plan with mana sinks like Omnath, Locus of Rage and Xenagos, God of Revels.
