Wolfies by doogain

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf tribal deck built around Chief of the Wilds as a scaling voltron commander. Every Wolf that enters puts two +1/+1 counters on Chief, so token production and doubled Wolf triggers quickly turn him into a lethal menace. Secondary paths are wide Wolf beats supported by Chief Warg's Company, Hollowhenge Overlord, Howl of the Night Pack, and Feed the Pack, while Garruk's Uprising and Unnatural Growth add trample and power. Equipment such as Whispersilk Cloak and Fireshrieker convert the big body into unblockable double-strike commander damage. Hardened Scales and The Earth Crystal inflate the counter engine. Anara in the 99 supports the commander but is not a hidden partner.
