Deck overview

Marneus Calgar is the draw engine of an Esper token-army build. The deck's primary plan is to resolve one or two token generators after Marneus, convert every enters trigger into cards, then finish with an anthem/pump. Secondary paths use Elspeth, Storm Slayer's doubling and the Reaver Titan/Knight Paladin vehicles to bypass chump blockers. There is no hidden commander and no true infinite combo; even when Marneus is removed, the deck can still win through mass token spells and recursive value from Celestine, Sister Hospitaller, and Elspeth. The key is sequencing: Marneus should be down before the biggest token spell so the draw engine refunds the cards used to build the board.
