Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Ishkanah, Grafwidow to assemble a defensive swarm of reach and deathtouch Spiders. It aims to fill the graveyard with varied card types to activate delirium, enabling Ishkanah to enter with three Spider tokens. From there, the deck leverages tribal payoffs like Shelob, Child of Ungoliant, token generators like Spider Spawning, and Ishkanah's activated drain ability to wear down opponents over time. Because the list runs minimal ramp and no tutors, it plays at a deliberate, grindy pace. It excels at stalling aerial and ground attacks, but it takes several turns to convert board presence into a complete table finish. Vulnerable to graveyard hate and board sweepers, the deck relies on steady land drops and graveyard recursion to rebuild and close the game.
