Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis kindred strategy commanded by Loki, the Deceiver. It leverages the Villain creature type to generate aggressive token copies, consistent card draw, and heavy combat pressure. Early turns establish acceleration through low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. By turn 4, the deck deploys Loki alongside high-impact Villains such as Doctor Doom, Crossbones, Malicious Mercenary, or The Squadron Sinister. When Loki attacks, he creates a temporary attacking copy of another Villain, triggering enter-the-battlefield abilities and drawing cards when damage connects. Permanent token retention tools like Sundial of the Infinite and The Master, Multiplied allow the deck to keep these clone armies indefinitely. A format-ceiling counterspell and removal suite protects the board while Raise the Palisade and Cover of Darkness ensure clean combat finishes around turn 7.
