Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Izzet spellslinger and topdeck polymorph strategy led by Neera, Wild Mage. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and scry/cantrip setup pieces during the opening turns, casting Neera on Turn 5, and immediately triggering her ability with a low-cost instant or sorcery. Neera tucks the cheap spell to reveal and cast devastating high-mana payoffs for free, including Eldrazi titans (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, It That Betrays), game-warping enchantments (Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, Mind's Dilation), and extra-turn spells (Time Stretch). Topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Brainstorm ensure that Neera consistently hits the strongest bombs in the 99. Supported by efficient interaction, free counterspells, and ritual backup, the deck quickly establishes overwhelming board superiority and closes out the table across 2 combat cycles.
