Deck overview

Captain America, First Avenger is a Jeskai equipment/voltron commander who turns attached Equipment into reach: Catch auto-attaches one piece every combat, while Throw converts Equipment mana value into noncombat damage. The deck's plan is to deploy a dense Equipment package - Colossus Hammer, Grafted Exoskeleton, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat - behind a deep tutor and draw core of Stoneforge Mystic, Enlightened Tutor, Sram, Senior Edificer, Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, and Puresteel Paladin. The primary kill is infect: Grafted Exoskeleton plus Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar or Chandra's Ignition turns one hit or spell into lethal poison for the whole table. Fallback lines win through repeated commander damage or high-mana-value Throws, with Sword of Feast and Famine untapping lands to chain multiple activations.
