Deck overview

This deck is an Esper battlecruiser and control list built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early mana rocks and topdeck filtering pieces on Turns 1 through 3, casting Yennett on Turn 4, and declaring an attack on Turn 5. Yennett's attack trigger cheats massive odd-cost spells directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs, bypassing high mana investments for cards like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Breach the Multiverse, and Artisan of Kozilek. The deck utilizes topdeck sculptors such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter to ensure consistent hits. Opponents face severe asymmetric attrition and locked casting options while high-power flying creatures close out the game through combat over successive turns.
