Hylda Tap Control by Lucasbamio

Format: Commander

Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown leads a UW tap-control deck that wins by locking opponents' boards and grinding value. Every time you tap an opponent's creature you can pay {1} to make a 4/4 Elemental, pump your team, or scry 2 and draw. The deck packs 20+ tap effects - repeatable tappers like Avacynian Priest and Frostbridge Guard, enter-tap creatures like Celestial Regulator and Floodpits Drowner, and stun-counter auras like Frozen in Ice and Blossombind - plus stax pieces like Blind Obedience, Thalia, Heretic Cathar and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior that make everything enter tapped. Sharae of Numbing Depths and Solitary Sanctuary add extra draw and counters. With no infinite combo, it wins through incremental tokens and counters over multiple combats.
