For the King by b.templar428

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a 5-color Kenrith goodstuff/reanimation deck leveraging Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge as a hidden commander to cheat creatures into play each upkeep via the Bridge side. Primary game plan involves ramping into Esika or Kenrith, using reanimation engines (Portal to Phyrexia, Journey to Eternity, Beacon of Unrest) and Kenrith's abilities for value and recursion, while building combat pressure with And ril, Narsil Reforged counters, Sphere Grid, and Arthur, Marigold Knight cheating attackers. Secondary paths include stax locks via Magus of the Moat and No Mercy, spell copying with Cosmic Crucible, and Paradigm value loops. Kenrith is essential for reanimation and draw but the deck has fallback engines; Esika's front side provides mana while the back face drives the core cheating strategy.
