Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Naya midrange aggro strategy centered on animating lands and stacking +1/+1 counters. Led by Toph, the First Metalbender, the deck turns lands and nontoken artifacts into resilient attackers that return to the battlefield if destroyed or exiled. A dense ramp suite ensures early commander deployment on Turn 3 or 4. From there, counter multipliers such as Branching Evolution and Solid Ground rapidly enlarge animated lands, while evasion enablers like Toph, Greatest Earthbender and Embodiment of Fury provide double strike and trample. The deck pressures life totals through combat, using extra combat steps from Bumi, Unleashed and Tifa, Martial Artist to close out the table. While susceptible to mass bounce effects and reliant on natural card draws for gas, the inherent resilience of earthbent lands makes the deck remarkably durable against conventional board wipes.
