Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. It blends Ape and Monkey tribal aggression with symmetric artifact distribution and asymmetric artifact punishment. Kibo hands out Banana tokens to all players, providing temporary mana and life when cracked. Whenever an opponent's artifact is put into a graveyard, Kibo places +1/+1 counters on all your Apes and Monkeys. The deck accelerates this growth using mass and repeatable artifact destruction spells such as Vandalblast, Gorilla Shaman, and Hammer Mage. Trample enablers like Tuskguard Captain and team pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede convert these large stat pools into lethal combat steps. Utility engines like Viridian Revel turn opposing artifact sacrifices into steady card draw, while Blood Moon taxes nonbasic lands. The deck reaches assembly on Turn 4, initiates critical combat pressure on Turn 6, and eliminates the table across two response cycles by Turn 8.
