Akim and his Tokes by Nephilim

Format: Commander

Creator: Nephilim

Commander: Akim, the Soaring Wind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs wide flying token pressure with a dense suite of game-ending creature combos. While Akim, the Soaring Wind sits in the command zone providing incremental Bird tokens and late-game double strike, the deck functions primarily as an aggressive token engine and combo package. Token generators like Kykar, Wind's Fury, Emeria Angel, and The Locust God build board presence, chip life totals, and trigger damage from Impact Tremors. The deck closes games by assembling infinite creature loops, utilizing Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker alongside untappers like Village Bell-Ringer, Felidar Guardian, or Zealous Conscripts, or executing extra combat chains via Breath of Fury.
