Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Dimir combo deck engineered around the format's most efficient win condition: Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Using dense fast mana and world-class tutors, the deck consistently threatens an unblockable, stack-based table kill as early as Turn 3. It protects this critical turn with a deep suite of free countermagic including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation. When fast combo lines are contested, card draw engines like Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, Ad Nauseam, and Necropotence quickly refill the hand. The deck also features a robust backup plan in its commander, Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, who enables infinite aristocrats sacrifice loops alongside Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar, and blood-artist drain effects.
