Tromo (bar)

Format: Commander

Commander: Tromokratis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Voltron deck built around Tromokratis, a massive Kraken that is nearly unblockable-it can't be blocked unless every creature the defending player controls blocks it. The primary game plan is to suit up the commander with equipment and auras, leverage its hexproof-while-not-attacking to protect it, and close out games with commander damage in one or two hits. The deck leans heavily on tempo and card draw, using bounce spells, tapping effects, and mass bounce to clear the way while drawing into its key pieces. Secondary win conditions include incidental commander damage from other large Krakens and Leviathans like Stormtide Leviathan and Scourge of Fleets, but the deck's engine is almost entirely centered on Tromokratis.
