Helod by user5074378

Format: Commander

Commander: Heliod, the Radiant Dawn // Heliod, the Warped Eclipse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius deck aims to flood the table with card draw, flip Heliod into its Warped Eclipse face, and then cast its many expensive payoffs for nearly free. The front face quietly buys back a key enchantment from the graveyard, while the back face turns mass-draw spells into a huge cost-reduction engine. Secondary plans include an Approach of the Second Sun loop, a Triskaidekaphile hand-size kill, and big Eldrazi cast triggers. A token and wrath package offers board control. The commander is the engine, but the deck's many draw spells, recursion, and independent finishers let it function reasonably even if Heliod is never cast.
