Deck overview

This deck leverages Smaug the Impenetrable as a massive mana battery and combo outlet. By dealing noncombat damage to its own indestructible commander using cards like Blasphemous Act, Cut Propulsion, Shivan Meteor, and Pestilence, the deck generates enormous quantities of Treasure tokens in a single turn. These Treasures immediately convert into game-ending burn through aristocrat and artifact pingers such as Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Mayhem Devil, and Reckless Fireweaver. Fast mana and rituals accelerate Smaug onto the battlefield ahead of schedule, while Blazing Sunsteel offers both an infinite damage loop with Brash Taunter and immense burst potential with Smaug. Symmetrical damage sweepers keep opposing creature boards clear while feeding Smaug's hoard, creating a resilient and explosive mid-game clock.
