Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Aristocrats and Reanimator combo deck commanded by Sephiroth, Planet's Heir. The commander provides a built-in board wipe against small creatures and scales in power as opposing creatures die. The primary strategy focuses on assembling compact infinite combos, specifically Deadeye Navigator paired with Peregrine Drake for infinite mana or Gravecrawler paired with Phyrexian Altar and death triggers like Syr Konrad, the Grim. The deck leverages powerful black tutors such as Demonic Tutor and Buried Alive alongside efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Victimize to bypass high casting costs. Supported by card advantage engines including Rhystic Study and Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, the deck rapidly cycles through its library while holding efficient countermagic to protect its closing turns. When combo lines are contested, asymmetric board clears like Maha, Its Feathers Night paired with Sephiroth clear the path for overwhelming combat damage.
