Deck overview

This deck utilizes Jecht, Reluctant Guardian as a combat-driven engine that transforms into Braska's Final Aeon, a 7/7 menace Saga creature. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Jecht deployment on turn 3 or 4, connecting in combat to immediately trigger Chapter I of its Saga side. This forces symmetrical hand discard across opponents while refilling your own hand. Counter-removal tools such as Hex Parasite and Thrull Parasite allow you to reset lore counters, repeatedly triggering hand disruption while maintaining a massive attacking presence. Equipment like Blackblade Reforged, Commander's Plate, and Fireshrieker scales combat damage to eliminate opponents via commander damage in sequential turns. Discard payoffs including Waste Not and Tinybones, Bauble Burglar generate immense mana and card advantage from opposing discards. The strategy combines persistent resource attrition with focused Voltron combat, supported by cheap black protection spells to preserve key permanents.
