Deck overview

This Esper artifact midrange deck leverages Urza, Chief Artificer to convert cheap artifact mana and utility creatures into massive, evasive Construct tokens. By curving low-cost artifact ramp and synergistic creatures into an early commander cast, Urza's affinity discounts his mana cost and immediately generates scaling Construct tokens each end step. These tokens grow larger with every permanent deployed, swinging past defenders with native menace. The 99 reinforces this stompy strategy with redundant token factories like Simulacrum Synthesizer and Illustrious Wanderglyph, while explosive top-end spells like Cyberdrive Awakener and Cybermen Squadron turn wide boards into lethal combat swings. Robust protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Bronze Guardian shield the board against board wipes, while an alternate Sydri, Galvanic Genius and Aetherflux Reservoir combo or a Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice lockout provide sudden non-combat table finishes.
